ARTEK Technology

Microwave Sensor One-Way opening

ARTEK is a microwave radar technology developed by BEA to elevate motion detection with higher precision, flexibility, and reliability, making it ideal for all types of automatic door systems.

How ARTEK Works

1. Active Digital Antenna

  • ARTEK uses an antenna controlled digitally, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

  • The detection angle and range can be electronically adjusted, enhancing flexibility and accuracy.

2. Microwave Radar Technology

  • It transmits microwave signals and measures the reflections from moving objects or people.

  • By applying the Doppler Effect, it can distinguish both the direction and speed of movement.

3. Smart Signal Processing

  • The built-in software rapidly processes signals.

  • It reduces false detections caused by shadows, dust, or minor irrelevant movements.

4. Efficiency in Automatic Door Applications

  • Detects movement to trigger automatic door opening.

  • Settings can be configured for one-way opening to enhance safety and manage pedestrian traffic.

  • The detection field can be adjusted to suit different environments, whether narrow or wide.

    5. Robust & Sustainable Design

  • Its durable structure is suitable for use in various environments.

  • Designed for long-lasting performance with reduced maintenance needs.

EAGLE ARTEK

Microwave Sensor

Microwave Sensor One-Way opening

The EAGLE ARTEK is a microwave sensor that can be installed on all types of automatic doors, regardless of the environment. Slim and compact, it is designed to fit the most discreet door operating systems. It offers one-way opening and optimises door opening and closing cycles. Setting the parameters is flexible and easy using push buttons. The detection field can be adjusted very simply without changing the antenna manually, as everything is handled electronically.

Stability & reliability
The EAGLE ARTEK benefits from ARTEK radar technology

developed by BEA. Based on the performance of EAGLE

ONE, this antenna inherits the stability and flexibility

of our radar sensors.

Compact design

EAGLE ARTEK's slim lines and compact dimensions

permit discreet integration with all types of operating

systems, even the thinnest ones. Because it uses

the same installation references as the EAGLE ONE,

the EAGLE ARTEK can easily replace an existing

installation.

Flexibility

The EAGLE ARTEK offers full electronic management

of the radar field. You no longer need to change the

antenna to adjust the detection field; shape

and size can be quickly adapted using push buttons.

Optimization of cross traffic rejection
Thanks to the improvement of cross traffic rejection,

the EAGLE ARTEK better filters out parallel movements

at the door that can cause unwanted detections.

Combine Sensor

Microwave and Active Infrared Sensor

Microwave and Infrared Sensor System, also known as a 2-in-1 Combined Sensor

The Combined Sensor integrates both microwave and infrared technologies to detect motion within its signal range and trigger automatic door operations. This type of sensor is ideal for frameless glass doors or automatic doors that do not require drilling for peephole installation.

Microwave
Microwave signals detect motion from people, animals, or objects within the sensor’s coverage area. When movement is detected, the microwave sensor activates the automatic door to open. The door closes once no further motion is detected. The detection range of the microwave sensor can be adjusted for distance, but the closing time cannot be configured.

Infrared
Infrared signals project a light curtain directly in front of the door to detect motion from users entering the detection zone. A key feature of infrared technology is its built-in safety system: if a user stands still within the detection area, the door remains open. The duration for which the door stays open depends on the configured time setting, with a default value of 60 seconds (1 minute).

IXIO D01
TECHNOLOGY Radar & Active Infrared

IXIO-D01 is a sensor which combines radar technology for the activation of the door with infrared technology for the user protection. The unidirectional radar enables energy saving to be made. The three-dimensional infrared curtain protects people from any contact with doors.

SPECIAL FEATURES
UNIDIRECTIONAL
Due to the unidirectionality, the duration of the door opening cycle is shorter, which reduces heat loss from the building and saves energy, This also optimises the "airlock" function

ประตูอัตโนมัติ

INFRARED CURTAINS
• 48 high-density infrared spotlights from 2 curtains protect users from any contact with the doors.
• A 32-bit microprocessor optimises the processing of information coming from the environment, ensuring a stable performance throughout the year.
