Combine Sensor

Microwave and Active Infrared Sensor

Microwave and Infrared Sensor System, also known as a 2-in-1 Combined Sensor

A combined sensor integrates both microwave and infrared technologies to detect motion within a designated range and automatically trigger the opening and closing of doors. This type of sensor is particularly suitable for frameless glass doors or automatic doors where installing a visible sensor (such as a peephole) is not desired.

Microwave Signal Operation
Microwave signals detect motion from people, animals, or objects within the sensor’s range. When movement is detected, the microwave sensor activates the automatic door to open. The door will close once no further motion is detected. The detection range of the microwave sensor can be adjusted, but the closing delay time cannot be configured.

Infrared Signal Operation
Infrared signals project a curtain of light directly in front of the door to detect motion from users entering the area. A key feature of infrared sensors is their built-in safety system: if a person stands still within the detection zone, the door remains open. The duration for which the door stays open depends on the configured time setting, with the standard being 60 seconds or 1 minute.

Cover-Infrared

Infrared Sensor

The infrared sensor projects a curtain of light directly in front of the door to detect user movement within the designated detection area. A key feature of the infrared beam is its built-in safety system: if the user remains stationary within the detection zone, the door will stay open. This behavior depends on the configuration settings within the device.

Cover-Microwave

Microwave Sensor

The microwave sensor detects motion from people, animals, or movable objects within its signal range. When a living being or a moving object enters the detection zone, the sensor activates the automatic door to open. The door will close once no further motion is detected in the area. The detection range of the microwave sensor can be adjusted for near or far distances; however, the signal duration or delay time cannot be configured.

SAFETY BEAM

Comfort sensor for sliding doors

Safety Beam Sensor (also known as a Door Anti-Pinch Sensor or Photocell Sensor)
This device requires wiring installation on both sides of the door frame. It emits a straight-line beam, typically installed at approximately 60 cm above the floor. The sensor operates as illustrated above: when a user places an opaque object or stands in the path of the beam, the automatic door remains open. The door will only close once the object is removed or the user steps out of the beam’s path.

Precautions When Using Automatic Doors Equipped with a Safety Beam

The anti-pinch sensor functions by keeping the door open only when the user is standing directly in the center of the doorway and blocking the beam. In this case, the door will remain open.

However, if the user extends an arm, body, or head into or out of the doorway without obstructing the beam at the lower level, the door may close unexpectedly, potentially causing injury.
