“BLUE ZONE” is a specialized configuration designed to enhance the safety of automatic doors. When a person or object enters the sensor’s detection area, the BLUE ZONE is activated and the door opens. As long as someone remains within the detection zone, the door stays open.

Once the area is clear—meaning no person or object is detected—the BLUE ZONE deactivates, allowing the door to close safely. This intelligent system helps prevent unnecessary door movements while ensuring user safety.

Air Slide2 Sensor Blue Zone Technology

The Air Slide2 Sensor is an automatic door sensor designed to detect hand-waving gestures in front of a designated sticker area, helping to minimize unnecessary door openings. It offers a safer alternative to traditional touch switches by reducing direct contact with physical buttons.

Blue Zone Technology is a unique safety feature that defines a protected entry zone for automatic doors. When a person or object is detected within this zone, the sensor keeps the door open. The door remains in the open position as long as someone is present in the detection area. Once the area is clear, the Blue Zone deactivates, allowing the door to close safely.

Contactless Activation with FLEX EYE
The sensor is designed to detect hand-waving gestures in front of the sticker area. FLEX EYE refers to the detection zone for these gestures. When FLEX EYE mode is activated, rows 2 to 4 detect pedestrian movement in front of the door. The door opens only when a hand is waved in front of the sticker, effectively reducing unnecessary activations.
